Peet Boot Dryer

We’ve never found a home in our loft for this very useful gadget. Would it improve your life? Let me know if it would.

bunk bed

No photo today so you must visualize a solid pine (unstained) simple-design bunk bed. It is in excellent condition. It has been much loved by our family and we got it (free) from another family. We added two new foam mattresses (Maiden Maine) in 2009. We have used it only in the summer since then. We have two safety sides for the upper bunk.

The bunk bed is at Ferry Beach in Saco and the safety sides are at River Dam Millyard in Biddeford. The bunk bed comes apart and goes back together again easily with big screws. The mattresses are light-weight.

I hope that you or someone you know will take this. It is invaluable to family life. It makes sleep options for kids and provides sleeping space for two without taking more floor space. The bunk bed is excellent infrastructure for forts, caves, boats, space capsules, etc.

Please call or email to make pick up arrangements. The access road to the bunk bed location does not get plowed, so if the snow gets too deep we will have to wait for it to melt.

midway stretch

I’ve documented about half of the furniture items we have to give away. Still to come are beds, mattresses, futons, and a couch. There are some good quality rugs to give away and probably some more lamps.

for knitting geeks only

64 magazines. The oldest is from 1986, the newest from 2007.

Not much to say about this. Either you are a knitter and understand why this might be valuable or you aren’t.

two pieces: top is 29″h x 30″w x 9.5″d; bottom is 31″h x 30″w x 15.5″d

This is the only bookcase-type item we have to give away. It is two pieces of a modular system from Levenger: Levenger Bookboxes. The finish is cherry. It is a lovely thing but kind of small. We used to have a house with many small rooms so it was ideal. Now we have a house with one huge room and this just looks stupid. Ted says he wants the top piece, the one with the glass doors. I can be convinced to give it away anyway.
